Bag it to me.

So im a bit of a Greenie, you know the people who are for recycling, the people who reuse nearly everything, the peple you see at grocery stores hauling in plenty of cloth bags? Thats me, and thats my mom. In order to help the earth we decided to simply make our own cloth bags instead of buying some that have usually added plenty of toxins into the wait when they had to be shipped around the country. So we bought some fabric and used some old scraps/clothing and made our own. So far weve got 2 done, But soon well have dozens, and then well take over the world with them!

Heres our first 2, feel free to go to your local fabric supply store, buy some awesome fabric and create your own then share your story.

Shiny shoes, robins egg cupcakes and life.

Sorry I haven't updated in so long!

We put to sleep my 13 yr ol sheltie who was basically me everything on Thursday and had barely any energy to do anything.

But, alas, here I am, and here come more posts!

Moving on, Happy Easter to all you Easter celebrating folks out there! Hopefully you had a good one.

Recent purcheses:

1. The skirt pictured below. Its from the Converse line for Target "One Star". Id been eyeing this skirt since I first saw it and when I checked on it Saturday, it was on sale! And the only size left was mine. :) Its basically the most comfortable skirt ive ever owned. Though I would like to note there is an enormous star in a cirlce (the logo) painted on the butt on the inside...

2. Adorable shiny shoes! I just like saying shiny shoes, but they really are shiny. I have yet to take a pic but they're simple, shiny, black, madden girl sneakers. That like the skirt, are terribly comfy.

3. Lots of cute socks and a couple pairs of pj shorts.

I spent today cleaning and baking some apple strusel cupcakes (I could live off of them) and vanilla robins egg cupcakes which will all be on my food blog when I get around to updating it.

Im speechless.

So, in my last post I told you all I got a Samsung Ailias, well that was March 7th and my mom got the same phone. They're now only $79.99 and they're buy one get one free!!!!!!! How ridiculous!!

Hey, ill put my new shoes on.

Yet another pair of ridiculously cheap shoes. :) How cheap you ask? $1.00! I seem to have (thankfully) inherited the thrifty-and-too-cheap-to-pay-full-price gene. Thanks mom!

Id also like to brag a bit about my new phone/baby. Our plan expired Friday so of course
we got to upgrade and my mom was amazing and bought me a really great phone call the Samsung u740 Alias since id been busting my butt spring cleaning around here. The thing is, i am super paranoid of breaking the thing. I think im going to go back and put insurence on it. Its
only six bucks a month and considering my phone retails at around 250 (don't worry, I payed
only about $75 for it and the bonus package) It could potentially save me a lot of money.

OH! I also got some great deals at Shopko. Can you say "90% off?" Its a beautiful thing.
Im too lazy to take a good pic of them but I got a nice lightweight short sleeve grey short neck turtleneck ($1.60!), a nice pair of darkwash wide leg jeans that I still need to hem. ($7.50!) Oh, and some yello chick Peeps! ($99cents :)

I also want to explain why Ive always only got one pic and when theres more they are all
grouped together. See, blogger hates me and if I try to post more it delete what ive typed/uploaded so ive given up and just group everything together.
If anyones got any tips on how to deal with this, please share.

P.S. When you too upgrade your phones, please donate your old ones to

So, this is "The dress" The dress above all dresses. The only dress I own... Yes, I know its sad. Thanks for reminding me.

Pink Velvet.

I started off thinking I was going to make red velvet cupcakes but as I dug
for red dye I found one half empty bottle and decided then wed have red
velvet. It was either that or green (which really isn't festive for this holiday)
because I seem to have a lot of green dye. If anyone wants some, its yours.
The cupcake idea came to mind because of this blog, I started thinking I wanted
to bake something for this holiday and as I came on here to check on things,
cupcakes instantly popped into my mind. So, I found a recipe that sounded good,
checked what I needed then went to the store where by the way I also got some Cheese-itz.
I have a loev for cheese-itz, very tasty. Anyhow, when I got home I started on the cupcakes and
ill sopare you the details fof that since im already boring you. In the end the recipe was a bit dry and the cream cheese frosting I made had a bit too much butter and wasn't asrcih as I would have liked.

Now for the fashion part of this. Awhile back I was shopping girlprops.com and found this really cute black chain necklace with a kind of big heart on the bottom and cherubs on the sides with a pair of cherups earrings (for only 99cents!!) When they finally got to me they were much bigger than I thought theyd be so I stuck them in the back of my jewelry drawer waiting for the right time to wear them. Today was that day. I decided no to the earring ssince I thought itd be a bit much. But I rocked the necklace.

I couldn't get a good picture since ive already changed into loungewear and don't feel like changing back. So heres a pic I took with my phone.

Along with a pic of *the* cupcakes.

(can ya dig it?)

Wearing:
Red cardiagan
Grey tee with a Mickey Mouse sketch on the front
Dark wash jeans
Black flats
"The" necklace
Black stud earrings

73 Hearts and Strawberries.

Valentines day was a day of mrder and brutality but it is now a day of love and kindness. Its a day for chocolate, romantic dinners, Ky and the Trojan man. ITs a day for new loves to blossom and old loves to rekindle their once hot passsionate love and bring it back to its previous fabulousness. Its a day single people hate with, well, a passion. Its a day single people grumble about while lovers swoon and giggle, single people gripe and bitch about it. But alas, wether you are deeply, madly in lvoe or single and miserable, theres always one thing to mkae that day better. Chocolate of course.

But that has little to do with this post. This post is focusing in on the greed of buisnesses to make
pretty red things and heart covered thigns to bring us in and buy buy buy. This post is all about
the pretty clothes and accessories that come from Valentines Day.

So enjoy darlings, enjoy and bask in the bright reds and hearts, lots of hearts.

Can ya dig it?

The new header. Like?

Im going to change it for each season/holiday/mood.

I also just got a brilliant idea.

Ya know how on Flying Saucers blog she has a pic of that evil girl from willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory that has a though bubble containing "I want that" then whatever she desires the the moment?

Well, Ive created my own version.

Told ya so...

I told you all id update more didn't I? Yes I did. And what am I doing now? Yes, updating.

Id like to start things off by sharing my misery with you guys. Now, ive dyed my hair many many times. With many many different brands or hair dye, and ive NEVER had an allerigic reaction to any of them, until now. Last night as I was about to pass out, my neck starts itching something fierce, then the rest of my head joins in and what do ya know, hives develop. So I pop back a few night time allergy pills, change my pillow case and scrub my scalp in the shower to get rid of excess chemicals. But still, now, I am itchy and hive-y. So now I may have to go to the doctor all because of some damn hair dye.

Does anyone know any at home itch-be-gone recipes? I really don't want to go to the dotor.

I know, I know, its not fashiony. But my brain is too preoccupied with not scratching to be fashion-y.

I got a life!

"Its about damn time loser."

Shut up, Ive heard it all befor. Reiterate it and youll never get a cupcake from me. EVER.

So, the past 3 weeks have been packed tight as spandex. Its a nice but stressful feeling. I got some friggin acne! Which for most ladies my age is nothing new, but you should know ive got rather amazing skin. Im a sickinly laid back so when I get stressed, acne hits me hard. But alas, it will be gone soon (have no fear) for chill me is here!

Now, why am I stressed you aks (and if you don't, then you really don't care and you should go away) Well, its a boy. Duh. When the hell isn't it a boy? Never. Plus theres the extreme lack of sleep and the extreme amount of rockstars ive einjested. So many in fact, I am now immuned to them. TAKE THAT ROCKSTAR! Make me a drink that will have me going forever and ill give you  $2.37, in change. Cuz im rich like that.

Anyhow, im to damn lazy to ake pictures of intresting thigns then upload them so youre stuck with a fab rant and an idea of what im weraing. Be warned, I , am tired and ill.

What Bri is wearing right now:
-Grey sweats (you know the ones with the elastic in the bottom that you ruch up to your knee) To show off my AMAZING calves.
-2 shades of blue tie-dye tupe tank.
-Green Green Day Kerplunk shirt.
-Purple and turquoise socks.

Thatll get me some boiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis.

Gigi Caron...

Is a jewelry God. She recently posted her site on here after I professed my love to food jewelry, and well, I have a new love. Its all beautiful and if I can ever afford it, im going on a shopping spree. But because im a broke ass fool, I decided just to share my favorites with you all. something I seem to do alot.

The pomagranate and the B are my 2 favorite of my favorites. I could live off of poms and the fact that it also looks like a peace sign only draws me in more. The B is available in all letters but, I dig the B for Bri.

Here is her site, check it out!

http://www.gigicaron.com/main.asp

Also, her blog is in the list of links on my page under WB Jewelry. Check that out as well, its amazing.

Something draws me in.

Last year I would have laughed at this and hated it, but now? Now I love it. How cute would this look with a random screen tee and a pair of flats? Very cute. Im actually thinking about ordering it. Opinions?

Another of Bris addictions...

Is food jewelry! Yes, food. I love jewelry in general, earrings, rings, necklace, bracelets, you name it, ive got it, lots of it. Though I don't own very much food jewelry, im looking to aquire more. For now, I will simply share with you all the beauties of food jewelry on le internet. I also decided to spare you with the rambles about everything in the picture so I only shared my thoughts of my favorites. It was terribly hard to narrow it down to by the way.

Also, im tired, its late, im not eloquent. Its something that come and goes, and while typing this, it had went. Sorry for this post sounding like a 10 yr old trying to sound older. The next will be better, I promise.

3. I think its a jelly filled cookie, but im not sure. Either way its cute.
4. I have a special connection with Oreos. So many good memories in my life have included them. You can't see the detailing on these but its super.
7. These are some of my favorites, they are what started me on my obbsession with food jewelry.
8. I don't love these, but theyre pretty ok. I think I could make my own, better version though. I think id add a little fortune too.
1. This and the five to follow are from a very creative and very talented artist on the site listed below. All of her treats are scented for extra satisfaction. Its terribly hard not to eat them but trust me, they don't taste as good as they look and smell.
2.
Maple donuts are my favorite kind and I would love to rock them. I also really want the cookies, really badly.
7.
They're real fruit loops! How cool is that?! They are coated in something so you can't eat them and so they won't get ruined but they still look so tasty.
8.
Milk annnnd cookies? Does life get any sweeter?

I have an addiction, well actually a few, I have a very addictive personality. One is plaid. Oh sweet plaid how you are good to me. I love everything about it, one of the best parts of winter is that I can whip out plaid flannel, or red plaid (which I don't find to be too great in the summer) and not get as many weird looks as I do when I bring it out in the summer. So, I decided to create a plaid wish list type thing to show you all. Here it is.

1. A beautiful, beautiful blue plaid swimsuit from UO. Usually I dig bikinis, but this caught my eye.
2. Normally I don't wear any head wear besides headbands or a clip or something small and simple. I'm obsessed with my hair and don't like to cover it up or ruin it. But this I like. This, I would sacrifice my hair for.
3. Super duper right? Plaid, boots, need I say more?
4. Sorry its so small, when I clicked for the bigger version and details it only showed the cream plaid one. I didn't like it, I dig the green though.
5. I love it. I love totes dearly and because this is plaid I love even more. Something about it just calls me in and attracts me.
6. Such pretty pretty colors that I fell in love. I also have addiction to comfy pants and this looks as such.
7. I LOVE IT! But they only have it in extra small now so its way out of the question. Its still super though right?
8. Flats, I like them. Plaid I like it.
9. CUUUUTE! Pretty blue, cozy feet ness, plaid. Whats not to like? I should also add that another addiction of mine is slippers! They rock.

Blogger be good!

So, blogger will not upload the photo below in the size I want/need so copy and paste the link to view it and read the ommentary if you wish.

Bad blogger.

http://tinypic.com/fullsize.php?pic=8fl2dls&s=1&capwidth=true

Good Will is good to me.

Id also like to add Bucephelus (one of my hamsters) has passed away. May she rest in peace.

And id like to stress how much better the colors of these sweaters look in person, the photos do not do them justice.
